Jewellery Stories - Elena On Film
Creativity does not end with a finished piece of jewellery, but it also reflects in the way the piece of jewellery is captured and shared with all of you. I have always loved taking photos and videos. It is a way of creating atmosphere and a world where the jewellery belongs.
My goal is to show the jewellery in real life and communicate what it actually looks like when you wear it or see someone else wearing it. I care about capturing a certain moment, a certain angle and a feeling more than making sure the photo is perfectly edited.
While I am working from home, I have found my Mum's old film camera that I had as a child. I took it with me when I went to the post office and took a handful of photos of the jewellery I was wearing while I stood in the queue in the sun. They are all film selfies, some are out of focus but I love how they turned out.
We are still open online, but our processing time is a couple of days longer due to the quarantine and lockdown measures. Products marked for pre-order have sold out, but everything else is available and in stock.
